Sarasa Natya Academy was established in 2012 in Westford, Massachusetts , by Preethi and has ever since been dedicated to propagating this divine art form in various roles as a performing artist, guru, and choreographer. SNA offers Bharatanatyam training to over 100 dedicated students in and around the Boston area, from beginner to advanced level. Her students have performed in various cultural programs in IAGB, IAB, EKAL, Hindu Heritage Day, Acton Diwali Fest, IANH, Indian Association of Rhode Island, New England Tamil Sangam, Tamil Makkal Mandram, New England Malayalee Association, Kerala Association of New England, Telugu Association of Greater Boston, Sri Lakshmi Temple, New England Sai Temple, Shiva Parvathy temple Groton, and have been podium finishers at various competitions, bringing laurels to the Academy. The school has also had the opportunity to perform in the Kapaleeshwarar temple sanctum in Chennai, India, in 2019, giving the students a wider reach. Besides, SNA Students have participated in Indian Raga competitions and have won many awards for the school.
The School has also participated in the Red Sox event, representing South India, and has been a regular performer at the World Dance Community Festival at Harvard Square, organized by Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre every year.
